Well the weather was perfect for being on the lake. The winds were calm and the weather warm. Guy Sandy was packed, all parking spaces were full so people parked on the road. With next weekend being Father's Day I would expect the lake to be just as busy. Try the lake during the week-it is a lot calmer!

Warm Summer Weekend
The temperature has risen and so have the number of people enjoying the area. Don't forget to visit the recently upgraded Veteran's Lake area. Bring your bikes and ride the concrete path which goes all along the lake. This is great for younger kids or if you want an easy enjoyable ride. Make sure you bring plenty of cold drinks as there is no where to buy water.
If you are planning to visit the area especially over the 4th of July and you have not make your reservations for lodging do so now. Our properties are filling up fast.
